Eugenio Donati, Representative of the Syrian Arab Republic,  has delivered the Ambassador’s speech for ISIS Malignani:

“Honourable Secretary General, Honourable Chairs, fellow delegates, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen,

It is a great honour to represent the Syrian Arab Republic at this prestigious conference. The delegation of Syria is delighted to have the opportunity to debate and contribute to the crucial issues on the agenda. Syria is in the middle of a dreadful civil war, which has already caused thousands of victims, including children and women.

The opposition groups, as well as terrorist organizations, are destabilizing the country and destroying the people of Syria. The Syrian delegation will be actively working with all Member States in order to find a political solution to this conflict and the serious refugee problem.

Our history might be different, our governments may have been enemies, our interests could differ, but we all share the universal founding principles of freedom, peace and prosperity. We all want to live in a better world.”
