We were invited to the third edition of the Cividale del Friuli Model United Nations UNESCO (CFMUNESCO), a High School students simulation of the United Nations whose motto is “ To Protect and Preserve”. The Conference took place from Saturday December 3^rd to Tuesday December 6^th at Convitto Nazionale “ Paolo Diacono” in Cividale del Friuli, Italy.

This is a great opportunity for students to show a dynamic and pro-active attitude on the world’s stage as country delegates or chair persons, debating in committees such as the UNESCO or the Environment ones, the Security Council, the Red Cross Movement, the Status of Women Commission.

Preparation and commitment are essential for a good debate but even delegates with little or no experience are welcome and will be supported by the more competent students to enjoy active participation and to widen their cultural and political horizons.
